Halle Helpers Opportunity: Coat & Hygiene Drive

Stroll has partnered with Michelle Shaver from Crye-Leike and Marc Ashley from State Farm! We are collecting supplies for the Boys and Girls Club of Memphis-Ross Road Location.

What we need:

New and Gently Used Coats: Coats from ages 5-18 young ladies and men (all sizes needed)

New Hygiene Products

• Toothbrush

• Toothpaste

• Deodorant

• Sanitary Pads

• Soap

• Mouth Wash

901 POP is honored to recognize the women in our community who have or are currently battling breast cancer by gifting them with one complimentary floral arrangement during our Breast Cancer Bouquet Giveaway.

Pick-up will take place on Sunday, October 20, from 3-5 p.m. at 901 POP, located at 1775 Moriah Woods Blvd. Suite #8. (Please note: arrangements not picked up by 5 p.m. on October 20 cannot be held.) Please place your order using the link below by Friday, October 18.

For Halle Residents, Tammie Vogel has offered to pick up all reserved bouquets and deliver to your home on Sunday, October 20.  Once you reserve your bouquet, you will receive a confirmation email.  Please forward that confirmation email to Tammie at trvogel3@gmail.comand include your address so she can drop off your bouquet!

Hurricane Helene has been devastating for so many. One of Halle’s sweetest, Jackie Smith Chartrand, has an 18 wheeler parked at her business to be filled and delivered to East Tennessee.

Halle Helpers would love to collect donations until Saturday morning at 10:00am and will drive them over to the truck.

Please text Tonya Ureda at 920-254-4430 to coordinate a time to drop off or feel free to leave on her porch at 2296 Lake Page Dr.

Now is the time to plant for the Spring, so let's spread sunshine and joy to our neighbors!

We need Halle Helpers to help purchase seeds, assemble them, create posters, and distribute the seeds.

Halle Helper Volunteers will be positioned throughout the neighborhood to pass out the seed packets to neighbors.

Healing & Restorative Community Yoga

• 3:30 p.m., Sunday, September 22 at Buckland Lawn
  

Soak up the sunlight with a community yoga practice designed to move, stretch, and heal the body, mind, and spirit. The yoga practice is designed for all levels, and all adult members of the Halle Plantation community.

This week’s teacher, Allison Eckelkamp, will volunteer her time, simply requesting a donation of $5-10, which will be sent to this week’s charity: Team Memphis Rescue & Support (a local dog rescue).

This class is being hosted in the spirit of community and individual healing, togetherness, and giving. 

Please bring a yoga mat and towel, water, and an open mind. All participants will be asked to sign a waiver, so please arrive at least 10 minutes early to sign and set up. Donations can be made in cash or via Venmo to @alioop118.
